Enabling Popups for MCC Databases and Services

Popups may be considered annoying but are required to show hints and new content in some MCC Library Databases (ArtStor, Westlaw) and other MCC services such as MyMathLab.

If popups are not enabled for these sites an error message will display letting you know that a needed popup is unavailable.

Sometimes right clicking on a link will allow you to see the content.

The issue of popups is complicated when installed toolbars from AOL, Google, Yahoo, etc. include an additional popup tool. Never install a toolbar unless you know you need it and understand all its features. Often there is a box that can be unchecked when installing a plug-in.
