Never Ever Open that file!

If you are trying to open an email attachment or other file on the internet you will be prompted to open or save the file. In all cases you should save the file locally to the My Documents folder if you plan on editing the information. In a network environment the file can be opened but will be placed in the temporary internet folders. Files placed in the temporary internet folders can not be retrieved at a later date even if the system goes down or you forget to make a copy.
