Printing word processing documents on a different PC

File menu bar
If you are trying to share or print a word processing document on a different computer than you have at home, with a different software package you might consider saving the document as an RTF. RTF is a file format that stands for Rich Text Format which was developed by Microsoft to allow for document exchange on a PC or a MacIntosh. An RTF document will tranfer your text, fonts, and margins. When saving your document select the save as button instead of save and use the pull-down menu to select RTF from the save as type options.
