Working with video tutorials # 1

When listening to a library video tutorial you may need to increase the volume. On a windows machine you can adjust your settings by going to:

  • Start
  • All programs
  • Accessories
  • Entertainment
  • Volume control

With this application you can either mute or adjust the volume of the tutorial.

If you find yourself going to this frequently you might try adding a shortcut to the volume controls on your links menu within your Internet explorer browser.

To add the shortcut:

  • Find the application on your PC at the above location
  • Open internet explorer
  • Right-click on the application
  • Create a shortcut
  • Drag the shortcut onto the links menu in the open internet explorer window

If your links menu is not visible

  • View
  • Toolbars
  • Make sure the Links menu has a check next to it.
