Many news organizations these days distribute content via an RSS feed. RSS just stands for Really Simple Syndication. The good news is that news feeds don't have to fill your email box, can be set to display summaries, with the ability to read the complete story if you want and save articles for future use. You can quickly catch up on issues on your own time in just minutes a day.
Yahoo or the
Bloglines web site will aggregate all of your news feeds in one place without the need to download software. You can add the library blog to you favorite newsreader that supports an Atom platform including:
NewsMonster,
NewzCrawler,
NetNewsWire,
Shrook,
RSSOwl, and
BottomFeeder.
In
myYahoo go to:
Login into your account
- Click on add content
- Add RSS by URL
- type the address in the box provided
Address is http://mcc-library.blogspot.com/
